A yearly event where 20 provinces meet at a dedicated district and battle it out to claim a place on the podium This competition features the best of the best bowlers selected by their districts to showcase their skills and talents.  16 people are selected for men and women's teams to participate in the flowing categories, Veteran Men's and ladies, Open Men and Ladies B section men and ladies.

The Bowls SA Women’s Open, hosted by Port Natal Bowls, brought together some of South Africa’s finest female bowlers in a showcase of talent, precision, and competitive spirit. Played across outstanding venues in the Port Natal region, the event highlighted the depth and quality of women’s bowls in South Africa.

The Bowls SA Men’s Open, hosted by Bowls Gauteng North, delivered high-level competition, exceptional sportsmanship, and world-class bowling action. With leading players from across the country competing for national honours, the championship once again demonstrated the passion and excellence that define South African bowls. Hosted in Gauteng North, the event celebrated not only elite competition but also the camaraderie and dedication that continue to grow the sport nationwide.
