The Bowling Masters in South Africa is a highlight for enthusiasts, eagerly anticipated each year. It's not just about the competition; it's about the camaraderie, the skill, and the excitement of the sport coming together in one fantastic event.

 

It's an event where inclusivity of the Bowling Masters, brings together top talent from across South Africa, including the vibrant pool of bowlers from the Gauteng province. With separate categories for Opens, Under 30s, and Veterans, as well as divisions for both men and women, the event truly showcases the diversity and depth of talent in the bowling community. It must have been thrilling to witness bowlers of all ages and backgrounds coming together to compete and celebrate their passion for the sport!

 

Entries into this [prestigious event included more than 70 percent of bowlers from Gauteng province.

 

Results - A total of 10 Gauteng Province bowlers featured on the podium in this year's Blue Ribbon event meaning more than 55 percent of the best bowlers in our country reside in our bowling province of Gold!

What makes this event  so incredibly special is the massive outpouring of efforts of the markers, umpires and volunteers - On behalf of Gauteng Bowls, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the invaluable contribution you all made as a markers and umpires during the recent BSA SA Masters.

 

Your dedication and commitment to ensuring fair play and the smooth running of the event did not go unnoticed. It is because of volunteers like you that our tournaments are able to succeed and provide an enjoyable experience for all participants and spectators.

 

Your enthusiasm and passion for the sport were evident in every call made and every match overseen. Your willingness to give your time and energy to support the bowls community is truly commendable. Please know that your efforts are greatly appreciated, not only by the organising committee but by every player whose game you influenced and every spectator whose experience you enhanced.
