Rudi was a mentor, a friend and a beacon of inspiration. Representing his country with pride for numerous years. Also later becoming a selector for Bowls South Africa.

Though the greens may seem a bit quieter now, the echoes of Rudi's victories and sportsmanship will resonate forever.
